The Rain Dance

God’s Thoughts to Me

Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass; it is about dancing in the rain (Author unknown).

The Rhythm of Rain

image

Listening to the rain
dancing, living, singing
hearing only
a tantalizing
rhythmic
nature song

A symphony of Love
urging total union
of body and body
of soul and soul
of my God and me

Much love and sweet blessings.

Mia

  1. Oh this is just beautiful Mia. To simply dance with Him…that is where your words make me want to be…dancing to His rhythm always.
    Much love,
    Beth

  2. Lovely words (and pictures!) Mia; nothing compares to the joy and laughter of dancing in the rain. God sends us the rain to clean, refresh, and restore our hearts and thoughts. We were blessed with rain recently; I love how it leaves everything so sparkly and clean! πŸ™‚

Blessings and hugs to you this weekend,
    Denise

  3. Hi Mia,
Rain and sun shine – there’s beauty, joys and challenges in both!

  4. you have such a gift for combining words with images Mia! .I found myself trying to imagine what I would see when I got to your site and although I could never guess ahead – again, I just love it. Thank you for this “tantalizing, rhythmic nature song”. looking forward to next week.

  5. Yes, very cool – the rhythm of rain. I like your thought process today. It’s so nice to dance in that heavenly rhythm isn’t it? Nice job my friend.

  6. I simply adore that phrase about dancing in the rain; ever since my husband’s cancer diagnosis, I’ve learned how to do just that….keep on dancing, no matter what. Thank you for your beautiful words this week.

Yes, giraffes are such sweet funny animals! The other day when we returned from PE, we saw a truck driving past us with a giraffe on the back!

  7. And that’s the point: learning to count blessings when it rains and dark days make you gloomy. Here it rains after two sweltering days. I listen to the drops on the window πŸ™‚ I love that.

    • Dear Jedidja
The sound of rain falling on a roof or against a window is so soothing. Glad you have a bit of a break in the heat.
      Much love XX
